Topic
PhD scholarship to work on a novel sensing approach exploring spin transfer torque (STT) for magnetic field sensing in perpendicular anisotropy magnetic tunnel junctions. The project aims at high-density low power consumption sensors, departing from and improving on conventional magnetoresistive sensors.
Candidate with mandatory University Master degree with following profile:
The candidate will benefit from existing state-of-the-art tools and facilities for material development, electrical and magnetic characterization, and device simulation. Recognized experience in any of the above fields or related to spintronics is a plus.
More details can be found here.
The PhD will take place at Spintec laboratory in Grenoble under the supervision of R.C. Sousa (Univ. Grenoble Alpes, CEA).
